Hey anyone know where i could find a 1-4mm silica sand? stoped by home depot what they have is less then 1mm, just looking for some cheap sand that i can use in the first 2inches of the phlem ( or how ever its is spelled). Trying to follow this guide i have that by all means i can find is acurate to what i want.

For that size range I would get a bag of concrete sand (not masonry sand) and a piece of window screen. Stretch the windowscreen over the top of a bucket and duct-tape it in place. Put a cup or two of concrete sand on the screen, and tap/shake the bucket until the small stuff falls through the screen. Dump the bigger particles into a separate bucket and repeat until you have enough.
