Settle down Krish. I bet my tank power bill more than yours.:D Why blame Bin Ladin? I blame Hillary Clinton:D

What pumps?

My Sequence Wahoo pump & the 4200 series (almost a dart size).

Ok this might just be my engineering/outdoor enthusiast side coming out but it sounded good to me.
What you need to do is get an exercise bike of some sort, take off the resistance unit and attach a generator (if you really want to do this then ask someone else for the details, I don't have time:rolleyes: ). Then you can wire it up to the power going to your tank and make everyone in your family who wants to watch tv (or the tank) ride the bike. That would not only save you LOTS of power your whole family would get in shape in the process. :)

I think this would be a great way to save money on your electric bill.

If we all did that know one would ever get fat:D

Typing and riding at the same time hmmmmmmmmm I haven't tried that one. I have done homework and ridden indoors at the same time though.

Personaly I would liuke to see the savings in the electric bill, I have changed some things as well in my main tank at home. Its a 125 G. Went from:

Panworld 40 Return pump
Reeflo Dart Closed loop
3 10k Ushio with PFO ballast
4 VHO with 2 Ice cap ballasts.
Reef Devil Protein with Mag 7 pump

to

Sedra 12000 Return pump
Kept the dart
3 Ushio 10k with Ice cap Ballats
Cv 200 Clone with Hailea pump rated at 450GPH

I noticed a dramatic difference after changing the Panworld out. Great pump , however the cost dropped on electric and heat in my tank, the Sedra is power hog as well for a submersible, but it is not a Pan world. Flow is not an issue , but the savings was siginficant. Changing the Mag and ETSS Reef devil out was also a savings. I am saving right now about 250 to 300 a year just on equipment changes, Photo period is not tested yet, But overall, I feel good about the changes.
