Hi
Would anyone happened to have schematics on building a powerhead controller. Something like a dimmer switch for lights? I find that my waterflow pumps are too powerful and tend to blow things around. I have basically two settings now, off and on(full blast).

Any other ideas would be helpful.
Thanks

Hi
thanks for your reply.
I have a 55 gal tank with a Maxijet 1200 on one side wall and a Hagen 1140 on the other side wall. Both are pointing towards the back wall. I tried using the air values but i don't like the tiny bubbles.

thanks again

Sam the Snail welcome to Reef Frontiers. I read on here somewhere that if you cut the tips off of the PH then the water tends to come out in a sporadic pattern instead of the usual stream. Also if you have a PH controller that switched them on and off and then on again the flow pattern would change. Since the motor running the impellar is magnet based when the power is turned on and off the magnet spins in the opposite direction. It was a great read on here somewhere. HTH?
