If you are not yet a member of PSAS yet, but want to join the group buy, I have a deal for you.

Personally, I think supporting the local club and building a community of local reefers is really important. The amount of knowledge that is shared at the meetings is immeasureable and the hours and hours people spend helping each other is invaluable. The PSAS team works extremely hard for us- inviting speakers, setting up swaps, meetings, etc. If we don't have the local club, what swaps would we attend, what speakers would come locally? It's really a treat for us. And it goes beyond that, developing good friendships and meeting great people is always a plus.

For this group buy I wanted to keep it for PSAS member only, but I'd like to extend this to the non PSAS members in a special way. If you become a member sometime this week before the Group Buy (11/3-11/4), I will gladly pay half of the membership fee for you. Thats right! Instead of the membership costing $30, This weekend, I will split it with you making it $15. To qualify, you must stop by the shop this weekend. You can apply for your PSAS membership here: The Puget Sound Aquarium Society • PSAS Membership Form
Print out the confirmation of payment, and bring it. Or you can PM me in advance here, and I can easily confirm with PSAS and I will give you $15 cash. It would also be great if you sign up for the PSAS email newsletter as well.

I hope some of you who have not joined PSAS cash in on this deal! By the way, PSAS membership grants you free entry to the big PSAS Bob Moore Frag Swap happening in February. I don't know how much they are charging this year for admission, but last year it was $15 for non members. Might as well get the PSAS membership for $15 and all the free frags/benifits that come along with it;).

Take care, Hope to see you all this weekend,
Chris

Wow Chris. This is a sweet deal.

Anyone even considering joining PSAS...Just do it. If you dont know what the Bob Moore frag swap is, it is a great event. This year it will be even greater from what I am hearing. Besides thise event, there are meetings and other events with giveaways and free raffles. $15.00 membership fee is a real sweet deal. Besides, Chris has got some super corals at even more super prices. I know, I have spent a few $ at seaking aquariums myself. Cant wait till the Bob Moore.

There's been some slight confusion as to how this will work.

Step 1. go to this link
The Puget Sound Aquarium Society • PSAS Membership Form

Step 2. Fill out the form, pay the $30 membership fee via paypal/credit card

Step 3. PM me your first and last name and I will confirm with PSAS

Step 4. Stop by the shop this Saturday (11/3) or Sunday (11/4) and I will give you $15 cash. (thus making the membership fee $15)

Step 5. Enjoy 20% off all corals while you are at the shop!

Thanks for the kind words guys. See you all saturday/sunday
