I think most people that went to Seamax had a good time. If Seamax does not happen again, what can we do as hobbyist? We all learned a lesson that participation is the key.
Here is a idea!
We plan as clubs to all meet at one place a year!
WE make a effort to bring vendors together to show their products.
I live in Tri-cities, Wa.
Here is what I can possibly offer.
Being a employee of a place. I can possibly have access to air conditioned Movie theater environment able to host 250 people , I can possibly use picnic grounds used to host quite a few people privately, A soccer field can be reserved, a baseball field can be reserved. That was the original idea years ago here in Tri-cities bring everyone together. Meet at one place and support the hobby! The only issue was time and commitment. I would recommend Sept possibly labor day week end!
That is what might possibly be able to offer here in Tri-cities.
I myself hope all clubs/hobbyist/forums/vendors work together and grow as one!
Maybe with enough work together we can reasure a Seamax again?
I ask you this. Is a mistake really a mistake when you learn?
