Thats going to be one of my first stops up there after I get moved in next week. I always go there to see how things are doing when Im up in Seattle. Plus I will be just working right down the road from it so I can walk there after work.

I took my son last week and hoped that the new exhibit was up and running. The clams from the clam display were moved to the new reef, and a couple of other displays were also changed to add new coral and put old ones into the new reef. It really does look nice.

On a sad note, the black-tips mysteriously died about four weeks ago.

What?!?! Both of them? That's too bad, I really loved watching them. I was told they were getting too large for that tank and they were supposed to send them to another (Georgia Aquarium maybe?) and get two smaller ones.

These were the two new smaller ones (the bigger black tips moved sometime ago). The guy I talked to said they were still waiting for the necropsy report because the cause of death was a mystery.
