seeking help in the Puyallup area!

..I just got my new sump..return pump,New Octipus skimmer and all the necessary things to get running...I think i have it set up right,but am just not confident in my plumbing job.....I would hate to start it up and flood out my house..this is the first sump i have ever attempted and am a little nervous...Maybe someone would help out a newbee reefer and verify i did it correctly....I would make it worth their while.. Thanks in advance...Shane

What part of Puyallup are you located in? I'm in Puyallup, between the fairgrounds and Wildwood Park. I have LOTS of experience in the "flooding the house" department! External pumps scare me, but if you're close by I could pop over in the morning.

Thanks finn...i am gonna give it a shot tomorrow..After i get myself about 5 hose clamps... Hopefully there will be no leaks..the Pump is what i am concerned about...thats where there is the most connections..i used Pipe dope on all of the pipes,Hopefully it is enough!!!

Please make sure you get plastic hose clamps.....

Also, where there are threaded connections, I'd suggest aquarium silicon rubber around the threads...

Don't use pipe dope or silicon rubber around threads. Simply use teflon tape.
