Server problems?

For the last few mornings it seems the RF server is having some problems, i.e. the website is up and down throughout the morning and generally just unreliable. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Our server and many other servers at our provider are being moved to a new data center. Our server has been moved already, but in the process of moving all of their servers, ours is bound to be up and down a bit. I have found sporatic outages, but seems to return pretty quickly. I will continue to keep an eye on it.

I get it too, but it only last a few minutes or so and then is back on. Heck i spend more time waiting to see a new post then i do waiting for the system to come back on.

This is terrible, I'm going to have to turn to hard drugs and alcohol when I can't get my RF fix. Oh wait, I already did.

yes I know, I am in the process of trying to get more info. Hopefully a short term issue, and not a long term issue

It has been on and off for me for the past few days and I have tried a few browers all with the same result..

Hope it is a simple fix

you're right, you're just the only one in the whole website with that many posts ... but that's all .

perhaps you could set it up (the server situation) so that gaby- and krish-posts are stored on a separate server (or servers). That way the rest of the board will be stable longer ...

Or every other month we could chop a few thousand posts off from gaby and Krish. Well with Krish maybe we could go every month.

Our provider has been going through some data center changeover pains and I was informed they are all being rectified. Some outages as you all know yesterday and sporadically the last couple of days. You should find things getting more stable now.

Chuck - is part of the change over also affecting email notification/subscriptions? I have not received any in several days.
