I am working on setting up two 120gl tanks. One for SPS and one for Anemones with maroon clowns only. My question is can these two systems be tied to a common sump, refugiums?

Total system I want to build is two 120gl show tanks, two 75gl refugiums and a 200gl sump/fuge. The 120s will be built into a wall and the rest will be in a room built for it.

Comments greatly appreciated.

Thanks
JIM

I dont see why not, if your plan is a refuge for the sps tank then all should be ok

Thanks Mike.
I dont quite have the what goes into what figured out yet. The two 120s will dump into the 200gal sump then go to the fuges or would the other way around be better?

Sounds like a fun idea. two tanks instead of one big one. Mike has a 6 foot section in his tank for his 10 RBTA's and an 8 foot section for SPS.

Actually Brad the anenomes are staying on that one rock pile so only about 3 feet for them, lol

Hardtwist I would just satalite the refugiums. Have the water taken out of the sump (at the raw water end) and then feed back to the sump closer to the return end. You want that water in the refugiums to have good contact time.
