Setting up a built-in tank (Help needed)

Greetings all!
I finally got the ok from my wife to put my 180 gallon tank in the garage and open the basement drywall so that you can see the tank from the basement room. I want all the equipments to be in the garage (that's the condition) and only have the glass aquarium view be seen from the room. Is there anyone that would be willling to do this work? i will pay for the work but want to make sure it is done right. Would love to get some quotes on getting this done. Thank you

First of all what kind of set up are you planning to do. FOWLR, or a reef. I am sure that there are planty of people on here that would like to help. As they have helped me out quite a bit. A little more information would probably help.

P.S. as you know kirkland is not to far from bothell you may just want to come look at some in wall tanks just to see how they are installed/plumed for ideas ?

I imagine this is a bearing wall being in the basement, not a prob just brace it up then header it off. Its like a window of sorts....Hmmm i wish i had some time to come over the MT's that would be a fun project. Im sure that someone will jump at the opportunity to build an in wall set up. I had alot of fun building mine! I will say that doing it your self is very rewarding, and quite a learning experiance, Though i have built many houses and understand there structures.

Are you going to Plum it? What are you going to do yourself?

Duane (TRIDO) would be a great bet! although he may be booked with his normal job. Definatley worth a shot - shoot him a pm. He just setup Jan's 240 and built her a fish room. I think he mentioned he's doing some work in Dang's house too.

load bearing wall needs a headder and trimmmers... i live in lake stevens i just did a in wall tank. i own a construction company so it was easy for me to do.
