Hi, I would love to hear other people's LED light schedules. I'd like to know the size of your tank, the intensity of your light (watts and %) from day to night, whites, blues... You get the point...

Maybe you can share other useful tips about how to set up a schedule for LED lights..

I am pretty basic. I run a evergrow 165 watt LED over a 60 gallon cube. I run my blues at 100%, they come on at 10:00am go off at 8:00pm. My white are at 50 %(took me about a month to ramp up this high) and run from 11:00am to 6:00pm.

110g penninsula OBD tank has 2 120w i think 7 color LEDs...100% for 7-8hrs a day. usually from 3pm-9 or 10pm

120g marineland has 2 stark 60w led blue and white and 1 120w multi color 5 colors led 100% same amount of time.
They r just reef breeders or watever they r called after those.

Leds are prob 12-16" off the tank. HTHs

That's how most ppl do it. Stores also run a lot of blue to make the coral pop. U have to ask to see it in white. Or at least I do lol.
Edit:rainy Dave u just got all tech savy on us. Is this apex. Way to rich for my blood. Plz explain ur schedule in laymen terms lol.

Running a Kessil A360N with Spectral Controller. Start at 9 am 100% blue and 5% intensity. By 12 pm it's 50% blue and 70% intensity until 3 pm and then ramps back down to 100% blue 5% intensity and turns off at 8:30pm. Kessil is 14" off the water surface. Try to create a natural sunrise/sunset throughout the day. :)

It's the iPhone app for the setting the light.

Setup time: is the start time in 24 hour format
White: is the percentage of White
Blue: is the percentage of Blue
Royal Blue: is the percentage of Moon Light

Basically, I start the ramp up at 10a (slot #2) with 14% White, 17% Blue, 0% Royal Blue. They slowly ramp up until they are on full (55% White, 65% Blue) at 3p (slot #2). Then then ramp down and shut off of main lights at 9p (slot #13). The moon lights ramp up from 8p (slot #12) and off at 11:59p (slot #17).

Here is the light map. My optics are all 120 degrees

rainydave-I'm running the Reef Radiance LumenTek Pro180 :) Pretty much the same layout, same optics as the 165p+ just more diodes. Great units!! Wish the 165p+ was around when I was ordering. I like the iPhone app!!
