Hey Guys,

Bought 110lbs of Shark Reef's LR from Indonesia - they tell me that it is fully cured and that I can start stocking my tank right away. It's been two days and all of my tests are registering at 0ppm, does that mean I can add inverts?

Shauna,

Eric has really good rock, most of the time with little, to no cycling required. If you've gone 2 days with out any detectible Amonia & Nitrites... I would say its time to add your clean-up crew.

Happy Reefing!!! *grinz*

SWEEEEEET - added a couple of scarlet hermits and three snails (one ast... and one turbo), just for something to look at to keep me under control (where's that duct tape) so I'm releived that I'm not about to kill those little suckers.

Add slowly. Continue monitoring for Ammonia, Nitr"i"tes and Nitr"a"tes as you go. Pick out your addition, add it, then wait... while you do more studying about your next additions. Test, so you know if any problems are about to raise their ugly heads. The hardest thing in our hobby, is PATIENTS!!!!

Happy Reefing!

Check for hitchikers before going too crazy. I have bought about 40-50 lbs of Shark Reef's Jakarta rock and I got 1 mantis, and 4 "rock" crabs. They were a pain to remove and they killed a few of my inhabitants.

ACK! thanks for the heads up! Good Lord I hope not as the tanks is in the process of being stocked!!! I'll keep my eyes open
