Congrats Luisse, that is one sweeeet anemone. Best of luck, hope it stays somewhat small and manageable for you. I've never had the Red morph but had a Blue reach over 30" in diameter.

Cheers, Todd

I completely agree! Unfortunately, the chances of it staying small are pretty slim. I've seen a Red Carpet almost 3' in diameter. They regularly reach over 23" in diameter. Reds and Blues are so beautiful. Hard to find, hard to keep alive, but worth the results if you're able to!

That is a sweet one.
I had a green/blue one back in the 90's that was about 20" dia. I remember when I moved it into my tank, it wrapped around my wrist and arm. It was like removing a giant piece of duct tape.
It left red welts that remained for about a week. Lots of pain and swelling.
I think it tried to eat my arm.

thanks everyone for the compliments,it is very pretty:)i got it from an online vendor, this is by far the cheapest and smallest red carpet i have seen for sale...and a very healthy one too:)...i had a blue one before but sold it because it was too big like 16-18 inches, and i had a small 55gal tank before, the blue one i had have a very nice blue color too..this red one i plan on keeping forever....if it gets too big i will just leave where it is right now and just get another tank for my corals, possibly a 180gal....i really enjoy looking at it eventhough my clowns are busy on my green bubble coral....

i will try to get a nice video of it when i have a chance and share it to all of u....
