Sick Pally or angry?

Can anyone tell me if this is Zoa Pox or what else it could be? This colony is usually happy and healthy but past week or so it's been closed up and getting a bit of white around the mouth none of my other zoanthids are affected yet.

If it's pox should i start the furan dips?

Oh man, I hope you don't have what I had, although we have not traded zoas in quite some time. When mine got "sick" they closed up with their skirts hanging out, different than what yours look like closed. Good luck, may the force be with you!

Besides whatever else could be, they look like detritus settled onto them. Means you need to give them more water flow

They were in 80 or so turnover rate in the middle ish part of tank i think it's snail slime making it stick to them lol.

It doesn't look like the pox though does it? i hope not.

I'll try basting the crap off them and see what happends, i was trying not to upset them more but if that's it i'll try!

K dusted them off and this is what they look like when angry.

The middle one seems to be shedding off some skin. Is the white around the top when closed normal? I don't remember it being there before this.

look healthy to me except they are close...i dont see any pox...sometimes my zoas do that,pissed off/shedding and not opening for days and look worst than yours...then after days/weeks or so they open up and look all happy...

if u want u can try dipping it with iodine...

Good healthy reaction to the dusting. No apparent problem, just give them better water flow.

yep, every once in a while, ione of my small colonies or frags will close up tight for a few days then open and be all happy and junk.

Yeah hope that's all it is, was surprising cause these guys are usually the first open and always happy.
