That Sicce psk2500 would be ideal for that setup. Hey Skimmerwhisperer would that pump come with the union fittings that plug straight into the skimmer body or would the pump itself just plug into it.

no, of course not... you would have to figure out the plumbing...
grab the dremel and pvc glue and go for it.

yep, that's the rs-80... with a 2.5" neck,
not big enough to accomodate a sicce psk 2500...

here's the other question, inside the pump, where the impeller goes, is it scratched up like the impeller magnet?? if yes, then the whole pump should be replaced, if no, then you could replace just the impeller.

Dude, I feel bad. When I bought it off of somebody it was sold to me as a 180. I did not do any checking on it. If you would like to trade back we can work something out. Either way it I feel bad. Let me know.

this leads me to another skimmer question. its only rated up to an 80 gallon tank. but it seems to be doing a good job. wont it still be good enough for 130galllon as long as its not filling up everyday? i have it in my sump which has only about 500gph worth of flow
