oh geez 15x12x12 is pretty big. I was talking more pico size. haha. like less than 6" in 2 dimensions. Plus, with a 15x12x12, you'd need atleast 3/8" thick acrylic for rimless or 1/4" eurobraced.

LEDs on a 15x12x12 is fine, you'd probably want something like 15x12x8 if you're doing JUST zoas. Theres no need for height since zoas dont really grow up. plus you'd need more light for the added depth, which adds to the cost.

i mean that in inches but i guess your rite zoas dont need a tall tank so 15"L x6"W x 6"H would be great....

Eagle Eyes. 20 polyps (alot of them are 3/4 the way open because I just turned on the light)

It looks like a giant rock of zoas, but its only MAYBE 1" across

*ps* I dont actually plan on making a bunch of picos for people, lol I'm too busy for this and I dont have the acrylic.

Heres an easy thermostat, but its technically used for low voltage DC.

on a more serious side, my zoas opened up the first day, but they havent opened since then... whyyyy??! I just tested everything..

could it be because I havent done a water change in this tank since... 3 weeks ago? I just did one, so hopefully they'll open tomorrow

I'm going to hold off on putting money into livestock in this tank before I get this figured out.

Oh I am! I have 2 tanks. One is ONLY sps (8gallons, 12x12x12" cube). and the other is zoas (0.5gallons, 5x5x5" cube)

Thanks Saltwaternoobs! The only new frag of zoas that arent opening are the tubs blues, but they are doing what the original frag of zoas were doing and now are sticking their skirts out, so hopefully they'll open up

I did some re-aquascaping so I need to post a new pic of that
