Smoking bad for your fish as well?

This started cause my moms tank hasnt been doing good for about a year now and we were talking about the differnce between her tank and mine. only real diff is they smoke and she has MH lighting. I think its the lights. But it got me to thinking wonder if the nicotine and crap in the smoke could hurt corals and fish?

hmmm I wonder that also I only smoke in the garage not in the house but my tank is in the garage well my big tank is setting up my small tank again tomorrow this one will have t5s and smaller water volume I will see if there is any difference.

i need some more sturgeon. lol it makes sense that it would. or maybe the smimmer skims it out as it goes in? idkhopefully some experts chime in

I smoke like a chimney and so does my GF and never noticed any ill efects on my tank. Not ideal, but then I shouldn't be smoking either.

Ask this same question in the barrier reef section, they should have some helpful stories about some tanks in smoking sections to shed some light on the situation
