Merry Christmas Everyone!

Question to the gang... I have an outbreak of tiny pointy edge cone shaped shelled snails in my fuge and DT. Should I be concerned? They are growing quite fast mostly white and adventurous.

I would guess that as long as they're not pyramid snails then I wouldn't be too concerned. The pyramid snails can go after clams and such

Sorry no pics yet as we are on our way to open presents at sis's house :D but I will try to get a macro shot posted soon. I wish I could get other stuff to procreate like these little babies!

Okay, here is a pic of the snails... they are multiplying! This one is of average size... I have some smaller but they are hard to spot on the live rock and some that are now twice the size. These have appeared in the last four months or so and growing! I hope these guys are only eating up calcium!

Hey Focus,

A neighbor you are! I think you are right. I have some large spiny star snails introduced about 9 months ago. Maybe they had babies? I first found these little guys in my sump though. Thanks for the link!

Sure is a good possibility they spawn. I catch my Cerith Snail laying eggs all the time on my glass. They don't make it due to a hungry cleaner shrimp and blenny BUT your are welcome.
