Any snowboarding reefers out there in WA??

I am debating wether or not to renew my Stevens Pass lift pass this year. My best bud moved to Montana and I didn't get up there nearly as much since boarding alone is not as much fun as watching friends me wipe out ;)

if you're wavering based on cost then i'd look into alpental/ski acres passes. they are really cheap and theres a lot of different plans. not as much as stevens and its really convenient (45 mins from kirland). alpental has some serious steeps too.

snowboarding is for children

I plan on getting a pass to Stevens as well. Don't know about riding with a "snowboarder" though; don't they all smoke? :D

lol! The only thing I smoke is the stick riders on the way down the hill ;)

There are clean knuckle draggers without potty mouths. I know the majority says otherwise but we outlying boarders that know what carving means do live in the PAC NW :)

Did you say snowboarders? Hey dude, i go up all the time with my buddies for the past few years. I like stevens and they do have great runs, but we move to crystal mountain last year. We discover that crystal has better runs than stevens. Maybe we can hooked up this year and hit the slopes with some of my friends. Here's a thought: Maybe we can gather or organized some reefers that SNOWBOARD or SKIE and hit the slope this season. :D :D . Who's interested??????? Stevens, Crytal Mountain heck, how about whistler or blackcomb in BC?

I totally agree about crystal being the best place with a reasonable drive. Whistler is still the best IMO but Crystal kicks butt too :) Snowboarding is awesome! I went about 3 or 4 times during the week for night boarding up at snoqualmie and stevens. I live about 35/40 mins from stevens now so I'm sure I'll be heading up there a LOT! Good to know there are other reefers that board too :)

Awesome! Good to see some snow surfers are out there. Crystal is definately sweet, just a longer drive for me. Of course Whistler/Blacomb blows everything in WA away but 5hr drives aren't always fun :)

I'm totally up for a reef keeper trip to the snow! Thanks for the invite reeffan. I may take you up on that.

I used to be a hardcore snowboarder for 10 years (I live in Wyoming....9 months of winter  ) but I think I'm too old for it now...it hurts my 34 year old body WAY too much when I crash, so I'm "retired" now... :D

I'm a snowboarder, and go frequently to Crystal Mountain and Stevens Pass. I that'd be great to meet up with everyone and do some boarding. :D

I'm a switch hitter. I ski or snowboard depending on the mood I'm in and the place I'm going. I know White Pass has a terrain park. I seem to recall that Crystal put in a half pipe last year. Did they a terrain park as well? What does Snoqualmie & Steven's have to offer snowboards?

I think setting up a ski day would be a lot of fun. We'll se if we can make it happen.

Gordo, I don't believe that Crystal has a terrain park (at least not one that I've found) but it's likely that I just haven't found it. If you're looking for a terrain park Stevens has a nice one on the Brooks chair (the farthest chair to the right side of the mountain). I haven't been up there for the last two years though, so I'm sure it's gotten even better since the last time I was there :D.
