We stripped our wet/dry 2 weeks ago of bio-balls and added the sock. We love it. It's certainly eisier to clean than the balls. not that we ever cleaned the balls, but at least I have the option of cleaning the sock. It is a 200 micron sock and we noticed alot better tank clarity.

Where did you buy your 200 micron sock? I'm looking for a larger micron sock or filter media bag. I've only found 300 micron filter media bags though, and I'm not sure if that will do the trick. I don't like how much the socks filter out.

That's a great site! The timing is great, because they have the mini light I need for my refugium. I would group buy, but not sure if that works if I'm buying a light fixture as well, and how that works living in different areas. PM me if it's still do-able, cuz I think I'm starting to get off topic.

Ahh the shipping would kill it I was just thinking out loud LOL!
Good site for hard to find things not normally found!

If they're the mesh style with draw string that might be a good compromise
(200 microns vs 250). Too bad it more than doubles the price though. I do like the size better (4 x 14) for my sump style.
