Thanks Nelson I have worked a lot harder this go around for improvement on the aesthetics of the room since I plan on being stuck here for a couple of years. I also wanted to be more efficient with the use of flow and pumps to reduce the amount of power I am using on a constant basis. I am going to be building a generator cabinet on the balcony soon and will be incorporating my 175w solar panel into the top of it to at least "offset" the pump's energy usage a little. The window seat and stand will all be painted and trimmed out with smoked plexi windows to see the water level etc.

When you come over I can tell you some of the stuff jake adams was talking about at the presentation. It could improve your flow a lot!

awesome! I missed the meeting I got a call for work (on call until tomorrow morning :-( and by the time I finished I figured it was to late I was pretty pissed.

Mississippi Mud...

Well got a coat of paint on the window seat today it is called Mississippi Mud. What does everyone think? I still have all of the trim work to do on the window seat and of course still do the 180's stand but at least tis coming along.

Thanks Roscoe it has been a lot of work but worth it in the end. I think once the trim molding is on and the 180's stand is completed it will look pretty good overall. Even though as noted earlier in the thread there is not much to see outside the window seat is great when I have BBQ's and a lot of friends over as it lends a lot of sitting room.

Adding some pics of the 26 gallon and a new fish...

I got this really nice Flag Fin Angel from ChrisDaFish that is in the 90 Gallon FOWLR tank.... Oh and yes I know about the Aptasia!

I am not sure yet how I want to aquascape the 26 gallon I have just kind of left it "as is" until I come up with somthing. I am thinking maybe a small shelf on the back for frags or somthing?

Oh and here are some very nice frags that I got from James734 he has such a nice looking tank again James thanks for sharing!

those are my own setup... each lamp is 3x1 watt units. I am currently working on a LED Pendant but am lacking the funds to get it going, it would be in the 200 watt range.

as promised some better tank pics
