as i said , this is different than any star i,ve seen. the body is deep in the rock and it doesn,t ever come out. i guess it stays in one place it's whole life cycle. it must be feeding on something since it's at least 14 months in the tank.

I agree on the Brittle Star. I have several in my tank. Had me baffled They hid deep in the rock. Now I have one living in a lettuce clip! Some of their legs have different colors too.
