Well i had this nice tourquise tort growing well in my tank. I noticed it starting to turn brown so thought something was wrong did my testing and nothing. I moved it to see if that was the problem and found star polyps underneath it. Assuming they were stinging it. So it was in bad shape and my flame decided hey ill just finish it off so 4 days later i have a 4 branch white tort. Im going to get some encrusting montis and get them to grow over it might look cool when done.

PS flame angels not reef safe to a sick coral :(

thanks for reading

That sucks, I feel for you. I used to have a nice big Cali Tort about 6" tall with 8-10 good sized branches. I came home one day and found 60% of it white. I tried to frag as much as I could but all the frags died within a couple weeks. I believe it was caused by a majano or aiptasia sting at the base. I've had GSP kill an acro before as well, they do fast damage.
