ok if this isn't the correct forum for this question I am sorry how ever I do like to post n this forum cause my responses seem to come quicker

any who to day I got a milwaukee ph600 and I was wondering what you guys think of them if any one has ever tried one

mine seems to work good seems to be pretty accurate

also its been a while for me so if any one can tell me what my ph is suspose to be id appreciate it

1 of my test kits says it should be 0 in a reef tank and im thinking this isn't right

7.8 to 8.4 right???

also if my ro/di water is at about 45 ppm is that ok or do I need new filters I mean I know it should be as close to zero as possible but I mean what's the highest I should tolerate trying to get the most from my filters???

and is calibration fluid good afcter its opened for a while or should I buy more, if not is there any way to conserve it in a sealed jar or anything???

thanks

without knowing what you have I would say 8.0 to 8.3 is a good range. I keep my reef about 8.0. And about the filters from what I read most will change thier filters when they hit 2ppm .I think 45 is way to high.

.45 is higher than my water is straight out of the tap.
Ph in a reef should be between 7.8-8.4 for ideal conditions.

LOL I guess I need to change my filters on my to do unit LOL
