Sound proofing (whats the best way)

Can you find this stuff by the drywall stuff? and Don how much of a gap did you put in between each layer.

Not much help we got it from McClendons, Ive never seen it at HD or Lowes so couldnt say for sure. I would make the gap the thickness of the material. It was a long time ago but there used to be lots of sound proofing articles on the internet.
