Spawning and snails

My GSP is spawning as of this morning. Bright pink little pearls are floating all over the tank and more are still being produced by the polyps. That's fine, but my concern is with my astea and trocus snails. They have all fallen off the rocks like they can't hold the suction. They are alive. It only seems to be effecting/affecting these snail types and not my nerites, etc. Do you think the spawn could have something to do with this?

I've changed my carbon out and am skimming wet, just in case. Also, I tested for calcium, alk, nitrates, etc and all are within normal ranges.

That exactly the same reason I quit drinking, kept falling over. They may just be trying to get away from the nasty spawning. Keep changing the carbon once a day.

Christina, do you have an HOB filter you can run temporarily? If not, I can let you borrow one - couldn't hurt to add some extra filtering for a few days.

I am running the carbon passively. I think I'll just go out and get a reactor for the carbon. I had been meaning to anyways. I'll change that carbon out daily too. I'm using black diamond carbon. Think I should go with chemi-pure or something along those lines?
