Sponges

I have these growing on the base of my Bubble Coral. I'm thinking they are sponges, but just in case, does anyone have any ideas?

it looks like sponges to me...i wouldn't worry about them affecting the coral at all If you have any concerns you can always scrape them off with a razor blade or the like
