Curious what those who have heavy SPS dominate tanks are using to dose/feed with success?

Feed calcium with kalk and calcium reactor..
And light..
my DIY reef food has oysterfeast in it they love that..
feed every other day..
nori on non meaty food days.

TEST and dose the following:
Calcium
Alkalinity
Magnesium
I emphasize testing, because it's important to know what your current levels are, and helps you decide how much to dose. It's very important to test for anything you dose AND to know why you're dosing. Knowing what each element does and how it effects our corals, is very important.
It's important that these 3 are at sufficient levels AND balanced.
In my signature, you'll find links to a reef chemistry calculator and a recipe to Randy Holmes DIY supplement recipes. These are very useful.
As for feeding, I feed frozen Cyclopeeze, Rods Coral Food and Reef Frenzy. I typically feed a couple of times per week, a couple hours prior to the lights coming on, in the morning. An alternative would be to feed a few hours after lights go off. Either way, SPS are more apt to extend their feeding tentacles, at night.

I agree on the testing, my jornal of test is nuts
Current levels I keep are
Ca-420-430
KH-10.8
Mg 1450-1500
I have an APEX that runs my Ca Reactor and levels are solid (consistant) I cant seem to raise my Ca though with out bumping the KH-I suppose since they go hand in hand-
I'm looking into dosing/using Amino Acids but presently its just the oyster feast daily some cyclopeze, mysis for the fish and some gumbo that has everything you can think of.
I also dose Strontium/Molybenum (or some spelling) although I shouldn't since I dont test for it.
Not finding alot of SPS "junkies" here, I got to page 2 and the threads were from Feb-

I agree-but I'm in denile-LOL
I've been doing it for nearly 2 years which is no excuse, but when looking at my tank everybody seems happy;
I want more polyp extension-LOL
