I just found a couple of small starfish on some of my rock. They are mostly white about 3/8 of an inch in diameter with webbed arms. Are these guys safe or do I remove and distroy them?

i am guessing that you have sand in the tank..i found a star one day and started looking closer...i found over 8 of them.....they are good..they just piggybacked into your tank in the rock crevices or in the sand

They look like this?:

If so, that is an asterina starfish, which is a common hitchhiker. Some have been known to eat SPS corals, or zoanthids polyps.
