Setting up a 90G SW system with 29 gallon sump. I built the sump out of acrylic and have an SRO 2000 skimmer with Mag 5 return pump. Eventually want to get some AI Sol led lights and an Exotech MP40. For now just going with some cheaper stuff.Main reason I am posting, does anyone have any experience with BRS Reef Saver rock, what did you do to cycle that? Did you use any cured live rock from a LFS (maybe in the fuge of the sump) to help the process? Where LFS has the best cured live rock?

Welcome to RF and the hobby.
Glad to have you.

I have not used that particular rock, but I cured and cycled new rock in a large rubbermaid container with a piece of shrimp for a few months. Once I added it to my tank, I did add a couple pieces of live rock from my other tank.

There are a number of great LFS's in the seattle area. Check out the sponsor forums. I believe they are all there.

Again, welcome to RF.

Hey, just checking to see how the tank is coming along.
Would love an update. Any questions or need help with anything, let us know.
