Just wondering if anyone has ever used acylic baffles in a 30 gal glass tank that is to be used as a sump? Otherwise, if glass baffles are a must, should they be cut 1/8" smaller on the width and then siliconed in? Is there a certain type of silicon that should be used and where should I look for it?

Thanks in advance

You can use acrylic...No problem at all if you rather use acrylic than glass. Just use the silicone as suggested and thick enough acrylic that won't flex:)
