Sump Questions

finally have everything I need to add a 100g sump to my existing 140g system

question:

How do i go about adding all that water without shocking everyone.

I planned on doing 15% water changes weekly, take the old water and dump it in the new sump, before its even plummed into the system. that could take me months!

anyone know any secrets?

Just make new SW & dump it in the sump, no harm If you match salinity & temp.

no harm in adding 100 gallons of brand new water???? are you guys sure? it wouldnt kill 100's of micro life forms at all? if you guys are 100% positive, i'll do it

If you have mixed the water properly and matched the salinity and temp. No problem
