Hi everyone,
I need some help. I am putting together an acrylic sump/refugium. I need to know what type of bonding material I should use to assemble it? I've heard weld on, but they don't sell it here that I have been able to find. What do you suggest? I want to make sure I will not cause potential problems to my reef inhabitants so I need something safe. ;) I'm sure you all know. Just want to cover my bases. I'd appreciate it. Thank you.

I would use weld-on #3 or #4 for gluing acrylic, you would have to order it I'm sure as to get exactly what you want. We have some threads here on acrylic if you search out in the DIY section.

sometimes on ebay they have some weldon glue - I have only seen 16 and is what I used for my skimmer project. I did have a page with all the different glues and uses somewhere if I can find it I will post a link. Checked out the plactics link - not bad pricing either James.
