sump/refugium?

thanks to everyone that has helped me with advice, i was just thinking would a sump/refugium help me..

Hey Bill...I think just for the extra water volume alone you'd get in your system would be a plus as it would add a bit more stabilty. As for the fuge itself, if you can get an algae in there that can out compete the algae you have growing in your tank for excess nutrients then it should work great in your favor

thats what i was thinking as well, all ideas and a compact dyi setup would be great.....

Everyone here has pushed me to the point of a DIY sump/fuge. I am going to take the advice. I was at PETSMART today looking at tanks that may fit. We'll see how it goes. Be looking for a thread on the build. I may start building this weekend.

iam thinking along thoses same lines, just need some dos and donts, i dont want to wast my money buying something i should have gotten a better one, type of thing.....
