Sunset montipora turns purple

Just noticed this a couple months ago that my sunset montipora started turning purple. Anybody had this experience? It's been a couple months and starting to migrate to the a new rock so I know its healthy.

I just sold a purple/red base with green polyps and I wasn't sure what monti it was.
Makes me wonder if it started out as a traditional sunset monti.
