So until now I have been feeding my tang with algae soaked in vitamarin-M (brightwell aquatics supplement). The rest of the fish in the tank eat mysis/brine shrimp twice daily, not soaked in anything. I received a bottle of vitamarin-C in my barrier reef gift bag. Until now I assumed that the multivitamin would be enough, should I be adding either or both of these straight to the tank for the other fish? Should I be alternating which one I soak the algae in for the tang?

life was so much simpler before i got this new bottle... hah!

Well,,,,, I happen to have a container of Warner Marine Vitamin/HUFA sitting next to my tank and I went and actually read the directions today.
It does say " Add 5ml of WM Vitamin/HUFA per 50 gallons of aquarium water per week."

I still stand by my earlier "NO".

IMO this would be adding more nutrients to the water.
I won't do it.

Hmmm...good question. I never really thought about it. So nobody soaks their food? I never have either till today with the vitamin c i got in my grab bag.

I have in the past and will probally continue to use the additives to soak some foods, but not in the tank

i soak mysis food with either vitamins and/or Zoecon..if you treat the water you are increasing nutrients which will increase unwanted algae in the tank...
