SWC 200 extreme question.

When i feed my coral animos and turn of my skimmer i had a problem when i restart it up. The skimmer fills up and starts overflowing the cup and needs to be dialed down and then back up to the spot i had it. Do others have to readjust the skimmer after a restart and if not what am i doing wrong?

lol thats the Amminos for you all skimmers will do that. I just let it go and clean and empty the cup before I dose amminos. althought I have a skimmer cup that holds a gallon of skimmate. mine does not over flow. I would leave set the same just clean real good before you dose. and I never turn it off I just let it run through.

Skimmer whisper may have a better answer since he sells these skimmers.

reason I say clean before you dose as you do not want a weeks worth of muck going right back in the system.
