Hmmmm
Well as for T5,s being more effient. I think it would depend on the ballast. I am in electronics. The bulbs need a certain push and a certain voltage. The ballast is what eats the amps not the bulbs. I will try t5 setup on another tank. But I am going to look farther into it. I see that some say they have eight bulbs on a tank. I have that 210 with 4 VHO,s 165 watts a piece. That is two ballast.
The report about MH being a directed light. Well it is directed and allmost all lights are atleast the ones with mirrors. I would like to see a real report by other than the company. I will have all three types of lights but they will be on different size tanks so I really dont think it will prove anything. I am not willing to buy two more 210 gallon tanks.
I have read an report on the LED,s and thier spectrom and Par. It seems everyone is sure on the spectrum that is more liable for groth but I havent seen a report on the spectrom??? Has anyone seen one?
