well even though i dont want to im am going to move the tank into the living room from my sisters room tonight.

My question is how high should i hang the light over the tank since im going to make a little hanging kit to hang up the tek 4bulb fixture

mom doesnt like the peices of wood i have the light propped up on:D

hey just got it finised and now i didnt start it when i asked the question

only cost $25 dollars cant beat that

probablly lees because i bought the more expensive ceiling hooks so that would pobably bring it down the $20 but it was worth it. Rather spend the money now then have to pay to put a new tank together

anybod no what bulb mixture will give me a nice blue look. Her tank is just to white

Looks good! Check out the sunlifts, they make it very easy to work on the tank!

i was going to get them and they were in my hand but when i saw how much they were they went right back on the hook. That would have added $60 to my total cost i wanted this to be cheap, easy, and work.

Sunlifts are $20/pr at DIYReef.....

As for bulb mix, try 50/50 mix of Aquablue Specials, and Blue + from ATI.

Looks good fatboyt123. What kind of backing is on your tank? Kind of looks like you got a shimmer going on. I like it.
