Whats the consensus on the t8 led tubes?

That's a good question, I've experimented with T8 LEDs I don't think there's enough wattage, matter of fact I think you can only get 24w out of each tube not really sure. I believe the 3 W LEDs are much brighter when you hook up 25 to 30 of them. Plus you can get a greater color spectrum with the smaller LEDs I don't think T8's come in royal blue.

yes good question, I agree 3w LEDs are brighter than T8 led tubes, more power more penetration , le,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
