Hey Peter, your mini-reef is looking real nice and has definitely changed/matured since my last visit. I'll have to check out what you ended up doing on the LED's, I'm just about to embark on a very ambitious LED build for my new 125.

How you doing? The site hasn't been the same since it changed....Also, I have been kind of burned out from reefing. Took some time off to refresh my reef energy This tank has been around for a year now and lots have changed. Thought I would give an update to it.

Honestly, I don't know what the secret is. My maimi orchid has always had colors. Even in different tanks. Wish I had an answer for you.

I wish you did too,i have been messing with this for a while now.

i have seen some nasty orchids out there (including mine) yours has a color combo that looks real nice.

Nate, I have an idea on the Miami orchid. In both tanks, I have it located really high up. Almost at the tip of water. I say I have my lights 12 inches above the water. Maybe it is a light issue. My alk is always around 10 and cal is roughly around 400. Hope that helps.
