I am setting up a 30gl nano frag tank using live sand and taking a handful of sand out of my other 2 tanks. Also going to use water from both tanks to fill some of the tank and using live rock from both tanks. By doing this should I still wait to put corals in the tank. I will wait at least a week to make sure everything is stable but really need to get some sps corals out of my display tank asap do to over growth.

But with all the extra life from other tanks I should be OK right? and I probably should add at least one fish to keep the bio cycle going right? In a few days of course.

Personally, I wouldn't wait at all. The only reason you would get a cycle is if the LR has a bunch of die off. I've done this many many times without any issues.

I've also never really had issues before when doing this. Just to be safe I would add the frags slowly so if it does start showing issues you don't lose all your frags.

Thanks for the help I will add my lower end corals first then work toward more the delicate stuff.
