I imagine there are a few oldbies that still remember me...

Thanks to a power outage (w/o benefit of a generator), I've lost almost everything in my little (55g) tank. It's been a pretty low-budget tank for a while, just running with what I had, so there wasn't anything glorious in it, but all I've managed to save is my pair of clownfish, and one of them isn't looking all that happy :-(

I'm going to scale back to the 29 g I began with for now, I guess, so I'll have a few things to sell.

I'd also be happy to trade some of the things I have for the things that'll be of more use, such as my old Coralife pendant MH (which works just fine) for a little CF fixture that can sit over the 29g - doesn't have to be even mildly attractive. I have a sump, probably about 20-30 gallons, that fits underneath a 55 nicely, a skimmer that's never even been hooked up, ditto a cheap overflow unit. Anyone that's interested should PM me about stuff, I guess.

Things I could use right now would be along the lines of a scoop or two of live sand, small snails, etc. Once I get the small tank stabilized maybe I'll try begging for some weed corals or something...

I'll be around most of the evening tonight, except for running out to the store for more RO water.

Ditto with some free Zoos, fuge plants such as calurpa and chyto, Kenya tree (Capnella sp), little live sand, maybe even a couple shrooms. I have lost it all enough times to totally feel for you. Whenever you are ready for it, let me know.

I dont have much to offer other than some chaeto, and a scoop or two of live sand if you would like. Only problem would be meeting up.

Thank you all for your offers!

I am in Seattle, in the Capitol Hill area, most weekends if anyone wants to try to meet up. Other than that, I'll hopefully make it to the December meeting. My biggest difficulty this time of year is that my sweetie (and transportation) is generally working 60 hr weeks and has only Saturdays to do all shopping, laundry, errands, housework and rest. Makes it difficult to coopt him with a list of places to go.

Sadly my clownfish didn't make it. I guess the damage was done, because they died during the night, even though I'd set them up in a small tank.

It must still be Monday here :-(
