seriously????? you guys are getting 22 out of the tap. My input to the RO unit is 120 or so in Canyon Park/Bothell/Lynnwood

You aren't kidding! I'm in snohomish co.....but wow! big difference. Our house isn't that old. Water always seemed good to me (and actually is for human consumption), but to be 100 ppm higher on the TDS is strange. And that is with a new TDS meter so I am confident in the readings. Oh well.....after the filter it's 0 so it really doesn't matter.

That is actually a normal reading, lower TDS could be from many variables but I would consider that a rarity for most of the U.S. water systems.
