I now have at least 3 of these tiny little clams in my tank. They are all smaller than a half inch and blend with the rock. I assumed they hitchhiked in. Any name for these? I eventually want to have a crocea clam. Does the growth of these little tiny baby clams bode well for that undertaking? How big can they get? They favor ill lit crevices and this is the only one I can really point a camera towards.

these are not of the Giant clam speicies, I cant see it in the pic either but it is probably some type of oyster or other clam, they dont seem to ever grow or do anything, but they do filter feed...

I've got those too... not sure if they're mussels or clams or what, but they are pretty cool I think.

i agree with the oyster, i have a couple and i see them around every once and a while, i don't think they hurt at all, and they're kinda cool
