Day 1 of 2010, 11:13 am, Power goes out. Happy New Year:exclaim: A tree must have been blown down by the winds we are having up here and took out a power line somewhere. Got to be 30+ sustained and much faster gusts. We installed a gardian generator a year ago last november. Thank goodness. Power to the tanks was only down for 30 seconds. Love the generator. Hopefully its not out too long. Propane is kinda expensive but not as bad as it would be to loose fish and coral, and my babies the seahorses. I'd be devistated to loose any of my fish or my seahorses. TGF generators.

Generators are awsome and I wouldn't be without one.

Yea... Powers back on. That wasn't too bad.
It may be kind of costly to buy and install, but well worth it.

I bought a Honda EU2000I Inverter generator a couple of months ago. Its a nice little insurance policy to have when the power goes out.
