Here are some pictures of Yesterdays Happenings!

Brad, Mark, and James were modifying parts for Maxi Jet Mods at Kahuna Corals. Barry did not open the large door to keep things cooler. You can not see people in the inside getting deals on Corals and Clams, 30% off regular prices!
Barrys Parents were there to greet and support theirs Son's Business.
Barry's parents were offering food and drinks, awesome people!
Barry was busy making sales on the internet when he got the chance.
When you are good to people, they usually come back. I have to admit Barry packed my corals really well to prevent any loses. Barry has the thickest Bags for corals I ever saw..Thanks Barry!

more pix of July 22nd, still at Kahuna Corals.

Barry was allowing people that had their Maxi jets mods done to use them in his tanks, to test them in his display tanks. Todd brought his own device compatible with Maxi jet Mod.

I was very impressed with both shops. I have really injoed the meeting lately because of the involvment of the local shops.

Indoor Reef, Tanks still spotless!

Here are some shots of Indoor Reef!
I still love this place. The people are laid back and easy going.

Here is something you guys probably never knew. Indoor Reef has plant to hide your cords. Not just any plants, but really cool looking exotic plants.
You want a Golden Lotus Bannana Plant,A pomegranate plant, A Flying Dragon Contorted Orange Tree, Arbeqina Olive plant, Issai Kiwi Plant, Minature Nectarine, Minature Peach tree, Columar Apple tree, A Meyers Lemon Tree, A Canas? They have em. My wife and I had to look hard for a plant that would hide cords on my tank.
Its a little late for me. But I hope this helps others out. :)

Here is one of the Owners of Indoor Reef(Paul)

This is Paul and Leng Sy. Indoor Reef donated money from Tank Raffle to help PSAS.
Indoor Reef supported PSAS, I hope Indoor made a killing that day!:)
Thank you for making this place so much fun!

Leng Sy and Ian.

Leng Sy came to teach people their tanks can be run skimmerless. He taught me more about lighting. Too much light and coral bleaches from stress at the tops. Too little Light coral bleaches from the bottom.
I think Leng could have communicated better with a PA system. I was one of the few that was a few feet from him during lecture. This guy has a heart of Gold! He paid for his own travel and donated literature about refugeums and DVDs to teach people that were unable to hear him.

Ian is new to Washington State. He recently moved from Georgia. Ian use to work for Kent. Kent was bought out by another company. That company is in Wisconsin. Ian said he did not want to live in Wisconsin. So he moved to Washington to work. Ian could talk a little bit about chemistry, the saltwater hobby, coral needs I am sure. I hope to see Ian at a PSAS meeting.
Welcome aboard Ian!:)

Ok a little about Miracle Mud Refugeum system, no skimming, just good water changes, proper flow to prevent dead spots, You still manage Calcium, keeping temperatures stable, proper photo period, possibly a phosphate reactor and polyfilter. You save money by not using electricity on skimmer,

Question for those that were up in front and could hear lecture.

Eric Borner or anyone else remember the system that is being used by Germans to produce growth rapidly? Leng explained this in his lecture. I did not want to interupt him explaining things.

I would like to know more about this system. I heard the negative side of this was corals grew thin branched.
Thanks in Advance.
Ed:)

I wanted to thank your group for the great hospitality they showed Leng and I. You have a great fish club going here and I hope to attend a few of the future meetings. Especially since one of your members turns out to be a neighbor of mine in Bellingham.;) Please let us know what we can do to support your club in the future.

Lets work on that!
