Wow puts everything into perspective, I thought I might be the only one.....

Hearing the wife say "I really miss our tank", during a visit to Saltwater City on a whim while in the area. This was about 3 yrs after taking down my 75. This led to the current 90 gallon just a few months later.

Watching items thrive and grow instaed of just being sustained.

See hundreds of freshly spawned shrimp jolting around under the light of my flashlight.

Discovering anything previously unnoticed in the tank.

Having my daughter call me at work to tell me the RBTA was not out, it split that day.

Firing up my Euroreef skimmer after fighting that dang Berlin skimmer left over from the previous tank.

Being able to give items away that grow well in my tank.

Having been in the hobby long enough to offer some advice.

Cranking up the new plumbing without a drop of leakage!!

Any DIY project, my stand and hood, reflectors, running the tank with my PLC, my old DIY fuge.......

Seeing that super clean water come out of the ro/di for the first time.

Watching levels drop during the cycle of live rock, even opening the box of live rock to see what wonders it held.

Saving specimens from a LFS that would not have made it, having them thrive and then fragging for others.

I could go on forever.................

K so far I have very few. But here it goes.

Having my water clear in my tank after filling it and seeing my Live rockin my own tank for the first time :)

More to come as the weeks roll on
