i backed off a little cause its less now. the food ive backed off quite a bit 2.

the tank is starting to stablize nicely i think

havent checked my levels lately but they are always the same,

Well, I think I beat the nuicance algae I had (brown wafer algae - lobophora ) I tried chopping it off of the rocks and it kept coming back so I tossed the rocks that had the stuff on it in a pot of boiling water for a few hours and walla!!:p Hope you get rid of it all soon:)

its going slowly now. but i dont want to boil, if i do its gonna be game over.

might as well just start this 40 gal as my tank

Boiling or "cooking your LR" is a last resort IMO and wouldn't suggest you doing it either. I did it because my tank was small, I have a small bioload which didn't need too much to support it and I had a rock that could, IMO support the whole tank that would stay in there had I removed the others and so I went for it. :)
