I just recieved my four bags of carbon and they look great, no dust inside!! It is the smallest I have ever seen so will a 200 micron bag be enough to contain it? Or even a 300 micron??

I use a mesh sack, fairly open up, I'm sure it is a pleasure to use their carbon with so little dust to deal with.

I use a refill for the Di only, I replace the carbon block on the RO/DI unit using the
MATRIKX +CR1 for my water needs. The loose carbon you can do the refillable canister which is probably the best way or as I do use a nylon mesh sock but I put in in the flow of the return drain inside my sock filter. I have no issues refilling the DI at all, I'd guess the same would be for the carbon but I'd call & ask just to be sure, they probably have a trick for doing it easy.

More so their filters & service, call them & request a water update from your local municipal, that way they can tell you what filters you need to purify your water best & more economically! Why buy filters you don't need!;)

I think you'd be fine with 100 but you can buy a few samples of different micron sizes and see what works the best for you. I thought there was a website like www.filtersock.com but I can't find it now

I have an 800 and its too large. Was hoping someone who used this carbon could tell me as I dont want to go smaller than need be as the smaller micron will tend to plug up faster IMO. After two days no real use answers so I am going to buy a few and test it.
